COSMETICS

The philosophy behind our cosmetics can be summed up in a single sentence: “Only what you can eat should go on your skin.” We use only ingredients sourced from nature that is still largely intact (wild-harvested) or from sustainable cultivation. Everything contained in our cosmetics is absorbed and metabolized by the body without any side effects.
All ingredients used are processed by the skin’s metabolism and by the body without leaving any residue or causing any strain.

In a deeper sense, the term “cosmetics” is derived from the words “cosmos” and “ethics.”
For our cosmetics, we draw on our knowledge of nature as well as the human ability to know what is right and how things should be done differently.

Conventional cosmetics may contain substances that harm the body. These substances are prohibited in both food production and food processing.

Approximately 4,000 toxic substances in roughly 80,000 different cosmetic products are approved by the authorities! This legal approval of toxic substances in conventional cosmetics means that harmful effects on human health and the Earth are consciously and tacitly accepted.

Essentially, this amounts to the ongoing destruction of the skin’s natural functions due to supposedly harmless individual and combined concentrations of toxins, preservatives, emulsifiers, stabilizers, fragrances, and active ingredients derived from genetically modified microorganisms.

Any unnecessary additives beyond what is truly needed cause harm. These additives are either toxic in themselves or give rise to byproducts and subtle effects with degenerative consequences. The immune system must expend significant energy to neutralize this damage in order to eliminate the affected substances. In addition to the liver, the lungs and skin also play a role in this detoxification process. The toxic waste products are stored in existing fatty tissue.

For this reason, we should keep toxins away from our skin—and, more generally, from the earth. Prevention is better than suffering!

In contrast, our health-promoting cosmetics contain no hazardous substances whatsoever; instead, we draw on nature’s treasures. The substances available there—nutrients and healing agents—can be safely absorbed and processed by the skin.

Cosmetics that are in harmony with nature can nourish the various layers of the skin and support its many functions.
Our cosmetics are suitable for daily use; they have a regenerating effect and provide moisture. Our body and hair wash is so gentle that you don’t even need to rinse it off after use. However, since impurities are removed from the hair and skin, it naturally makes sense to rinse with clean water.

Since our cosmetics—which are freshly produced on an ongoing basis—contain no preservatives whatsoever, they have a natural “best-by date.” Through natural extraction processes, specific secondary components in the products act as skin-care agents. These are natural extracts. They cannot be produced artificially, are not patentable, and are therefore of no financial interest to the industry.
